UBCの一年生寮で日本では、なかなか体験できないことを経験をしました。世界中から来た人と出会い、友達になり、ともに一年間同じ屋根の下で生活をしていました。一人暮らしでは新しい友達を作るの難しいです。でも学校の寮に住むと新しい人と出会うことが毎日の楽しみです。僕は一年生寮のおかげで各大陸に友達ができました。

I'm here to ask you all why you chose or will choose this university to study or work instead other universities. Do you have any interests in your major or environment or anything? Any answer will be fine, I'm just curious about people involved in this one of the greatest universities in Canada. Many thanks.

I currently attend UBC and one of the biggest reason is the weather. Even though it rains all winter it never snows. Also compared to other cities in Canada it is much warmer. Another reason is the diverse student body in terms of background, in UBC there are people from all around the world and make many friends and it expands your cultural understanding.
Also the academic level is high therefore you do need to challenge yourself academically.
And lastly Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in the world in the summer and best places to be all year around.
