I am in computer science cant talk much about other faculties but that's what it really comes down to. Co op teaches you how to actually work. They will pay you and you get to be a real shakaijinn for the period. So for me, I will be on co op for a term and be back in school for a term and I will alternate the pattern till I graduate.
I previously worked as a programmer, and developer. Literally everyone is in co op because we get paid and we get experience and we get a job after we graduate.
. Most of friends who came here were choosing between Ivys and here. (I got into UC Berkley and Carnegie myself). All your peers are strong, the curriculum is rigorous but that's why people come here, to make lifetime friends and to learn the thing.
