Every year thousands of students come from all over the world to study at Stanton School of English. Some are on holiday, and some wish to stay in the UK for a longer time. Some want to pass examinations or to enter a British university. Others need English to help them obtain jobs or gain promotion at work. All of them have these aims:
• To communicate in English.
• To progress as quickly as possible.
• To obtain the best quality possible for their money.

At its central London site, Stanton School of English understands your reasons for coming to the UK and your aims. We want to help you learn. We also want you to have fun.

The Stanton's monthly social activities include coach tours to places of interest outside London, visits to London museums, parks and galleries, concerts, pub crawls, night clubs and parties, etc.

These events are a good opportunity to meet teachers and students from other classes, to practise your English, and to get an introduction to England, its institutions and its way of life.

Stanton is a large school, with a lot of activities on offer. Some events are free, others carry a small entry charge, but our prices are always suitable to student pockets - our reduced price theatre tickets are especially cheap, usually the cheapest in London.

Stanton School’s building has been designed as a language learning environment, exactly suited to the requirements of the modern teaching and learning situation.

It is furnished in modern style, and fittings and equipment are up-to-date. Every classroom is full of natural light. Some rooms have glass walls, and all are fitted with glass viewing panels.

This gives the building an open, welcoming and rational atmosphere which enables students to find their way around rapidly and easily.

All classrooms are fully equipped and fully air-conditioned. Everyone knows that the English summer is short, but even the short summer can be extremely hot and uncomfortable when you are in a classroom full of other people, so we regard the air-conditioning as an essential ingredient in providing a suitable classroom setting. In winter as well the air-conditioning purifies warms and dehumidifies the air, which helps to provide an environment where everyone can concentrate more effectively.
