- I was living in a Villager Apartment located about 15-25 minutes away from the University. I always walked to school, but there was no problem. As long as you do not mind walking, the residence was pretty clean, calm, and relaxing area. The area sometimes gets a little sketchy, but I did not feel dangerous. The good thing about this apartment is newly redesigned and furnished, so all furniture was beautiful and clean. You will pay about $450 including utilities per month although it depends on your lease. You will get a private room with private bathroom. What a deal! You have to share a kitchen with other three residents you do not know, but I was perfectly safe. And you will have a choice when you sign the contract whether you do not mind being mixed with male or female residents, or you would like to share it only with male or female. Also, this apartment provides each resident a private shelf in a kitchen, so nobody will steal your food if you always lock your shelf. They have a pool available with free of charge for the residents, so it was always nice to have a relaxing time with my friends in summer(you can bring a guest). They have a bus stop in front of the apartment, so it's friendsly for the students who commute TMCC as well.
