The biggest campus in Victoria. It comes with a huge wildlife sanctuary and any other nature spots. The Bundoora campus is like a small village where you can find many sorts of restaurants, cafe and you also do banking and travelling stuffs in a small but busiest area called Agora. La Tribe has one of the biggest international students ratio in Australia then you would come across many students from many different countries which can be a great experience for you. However, most of international students are from Asia countries and they tend to team up with their countries friends and they don'tspeak English that good. You better make local friends if you want to improve your English. In my opinion, many Japanese students try to hang out with locals but it would be difficult to get intimate without your good English. Do you wanna catch up people who don't understand what you are talking? Hell No. Anyway, when it comes to classes, you have got both tutorials and lectures usually. You will be just passive and listen up what the lecturer say in lecture classes but there are many discussions going on in tutorial classes. You have to present your opinions and deal with a lot of problems with your mates and it is so much fun! But I've got a weird experience one time I was in a tutorial class. The teacher decided us to 5 groups and let us have a discussion. Many students positively tried to present their opinions but none of Asian students did that including one Japanese girl. One group was all Asian one and when they had to present their idea, nobody tried to stand up and then, silence. That was so out of our atmosphere. Don't be afraid, don't be shy. You'll get more confident if you handle English well. Anyway, it's a good university but you sometimes feel weird because a thousand of students from different countries gather up on the same campus.
