Kingsway is a small English language centre for mature adults. Tasteful and professional premises in centre of the small historic city of Worcester.

General and Business English for motivated adult students. Standard courses are 15, 22 or 30 hours tuition/week. Minimum age 25, no maximum age, average age 40. Good mix of nationalities. Excellent homestays close to centre. Dedicated Social Manager.

Kingsway also runs a 5-star quality Summer School programme in July/August for motivated 13-17 year olds based at the local Grammar School (500 metres from the adult centre). Full programme of lessons, trips and activities.

海外に行くと日本人は注文が細かい、と言われることがほとんどですが、こちらの学校では日本人と同じか、それ以上の配慮をもってすべての生徒個々に対応してくれます。落ち着いた雰囲気でしっかり勉強したい、という人にお勧めです。

大人の為の語学学校です。語学学校は２０代位迄の若者が通うと思い込んでいましたが、こちらの学校は違いました。３０代〜６０代の方が多く、お互いのお仕事の話や社会面での会話も多く飛び交う学校です。生徒の皆さんも素晴らしいですし、学ぶべきところがたくさんありました。先生方も皆さん素晴らしい方ばかりで、授業はもちろんの事、その他の時間もたくさん会話し、楽しい時間を過ごす事が出来て有意義な時間でした。ホームスティをする事を当初戸惑っていましが、受け入れ先のご家庭も素晴らしく、ホームスティを躊躇っていた事を反省しました。やはり現地の言葉を学ぶにはホームスティが１番です。短期間で英語力を伸ばすには最高の環境が整っています。

発音をきちんと学びたい、短期間でしっかり勉強したい、欧米人アレルギーをなくしたい、様々な国の人達と友達になりたい、英国の生活や文化に直に触れたい、そんな人に、心からお勧めしたい語学学校です。英語はしっかりと教えてくれるのに、学校全体がとても温かかい。ただただ楽しかったです。授業料は高めに見えますが、各先生の質の高さ、少人数制、無理なく楽しく英語漬けになれる環境を考えると、むしろ非常にリーズナブルといえます。コッツウォルズやストーンヘンジなど風光明媚な地域も近いので、エクスカーションも充実です。私は、週末にレンタカーでよくドライブを楽しみました。私の場合、事前に入念にリサーチし、Kingswayをベストと結論付けて行きましたが、その選択は間違っていませんでした。

このスクールは30代から60代、といった方々が本気で勉強しています。施設も講師の方々もアットホームでした。また機会があれば行きたいです。

私がキングスウェイを選んだ理由は日本人、アジア人の比率が少ない事、平均年齢が高い事でした。落ち着いて学べるかなと思ったからです。少し他校よりは金額的に高いかなとも思ったのですが、選んで正解でした。授業も工夫されていますし、ホームスティ先等の事や困った事等についても、週一回聞き取りの面談をしてくれました。街も素敵なところです。クラスメイトも今まで私が出会ったことのないお国の人もいて刺激的でした。是非もう一度行こうと考えながら、時間が取れずじまいになっています。本気で英語を学びたいと思う人にはお勧めです

Our full-time intensive course is 30 hours tuition per week. This is not 30 lessons but 30 hours in a class with a teacher in a very small group (maximum 6 people). Homework is revising the day’s work which can be done in the evenings.

From arrival our students get VIP treatment! Our senior managers give each new arrival a personal welcome on Monday morning and all staff and students socialise during the “networking buffet” lunch. By the end of their first day our new students feel relaxed and at home.

The school itself is in an historic building which is spacious, elegant and tastefully furnished. The classrooms are light and well-equipped and the public rooms are stylish and comfortable. The small, pretty courtyard garden is a haven in the city.

Our Social Manager organises & leads a range of evening and week-end activities – all suitable for adults. These vary according to the time of year & the weather but all allow our students to socialise (in English!) whilst relaxing with their new colleagues.

Getting to Kingsway is easy by Kingsway taxi or by public transport. Birmingham airport (BHX) is 40 minutes by car and Heathrow (LHR) is just under 2 hours away.
